Even though we ended up not making it to Mexico, we still had a blast and met some awesome people named Brent and Francis.  They were our neighbors and we ended up eating with them almost every day.  We also hung out in Hollywood for a couple of days at the end of our trip.  We saw Jeff Bridges' star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  He happens to be next to his brother Beau and his father Lloyd.  We also happened upon the filming of Hancock, the new Will Smith super-hero movie in front of the Chinese Theater.  I know that probably sounds cool, but it was really more of an annoyance.  We just wanted to go to a restaurant down the street, but everything was blocked off.  Liz also spotting Reese Witherspoon at LAX and I'm pretty sure I saw Richard Riehle at the Pig and Whistle, one of Liz's favorite restaurants.  If you're not familiar with Riehle, you might remember him as the creator of the Jump To Conclusions Mat from Office Space.

While in Hollywood we enjoyed some wonderful burgers from the In-N-Out down the street from our hotel and I also went shopping for some half-n-half at Ralph's.  Couldn't find it though.  If you're interested in pictures, we have some coming.  I just need to figure out the most efficient way to post them on the site so they're easy to find and peruse.
