We mentioned this a while ago, but the LA festival is coming up soon on the 12th and 13th. If you don't already have your tickets, you might want to get on that. I also received a couple new books in the mail today.
The first would be the new BBC Film Institute book and the other would be the Coen Brothers edition of the Conversations with Filmmakers Series. I've been looking forward to reading both and will have reviews of each after I'm finished.
