If you're not sure who Roger Deakins is, he has done a lot of the cinematography for the Coens. In fact, he's worked with them on Barton Fink, The Hudsucker Proxy, Fargo, The Big Lebowski, O Brother Where Art Thou?, The Man Who Wasn't There, Intolerable Cruelty, The Ladykillers and No Country for Old Men. In fact, he's not just nominated for one Oscar this year, but two - No Country for Old Men, obviously, and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. You may think this man's resume looks impressive just by the list of Coen movies, but you should really check him out on IMDB . This guy has done work on many other highly respected films. Here's hoping he wins this year.
