While watching Palin's speech last night, I immediately thought of The Contender starring Jeff Bridges and Joan Allen.  I know the circumstances aren't all the same, but it just seemed like deja vu hearing everybody commenting on Govenor Palin's status in the political world.  I then found an article all about it on The Houstonian.

Here are a couple reviews on Burn After Reading.  The first article doesn't seem to hip on the film.  I would say the second article is a bit more optimistic.  Honestly, I don't care what the critics are saying.  I'm going to go see it and I'll probably love it.  There hasn't been a Coen movie I've hated yet.
