I'm sure you've heard of the six degrees game. You try and connect two people, usually actors. Most people can connect any actor to Kevin Bacon. Now, people are playing Six Degrees of the Coen Brothers. The Coens are shining at the Toronto International Film Festival. It was hard not to laugh while watching this. Here is a vintage review of The Big Lebowski by Ebert and Roeper. Truth be told, I had to look up Roeper's name. After Siskel died, it was just Ebert and that other guy. Check out the clip below. I think Roeper really puts his foot in his mouth. Surfer shorts? Superman scene? I think Roeper's out of his element. EDIT: After posting this, I realized that was Siskel sitting there with Ebert. It had been so long I had forgotten what he looked like. Never really liked his reviews anways. Too bad he didn't live long enough to see any of the success this film has garnered.
