A friend of mine recently moved to Portland, OR and has started up an art gallery of sorts.  I say, "of sorts" because it's not your traditional art venue.  They currently don't have a building to house their art so it's not a place you can walk or drive to and check things out.  On top of that you have the current economy where some of the traditional art galleries are no longer able to stay open because people don't have the means for the necessary means to buy paintings, sculptures and whathaveyou.
