I didn't really know if I should bring this up or not.  I didn't want to just come off as a news hound or be cheap about it.  Last week Dorothy Bridges, wife of Lloyd Bridges and mother of Jeff Bridges, passed away.  I can't even imagine how I'd feel if my mother passed away which is why I didn't want to be insensitive about the topic.  However, I came across the link to this tribute web site today and that is why I've decided to mention it.

I don't really know much about the late Mrs. Bridges except that she seemed to be the glue that held the Bridges family together.  Both Jeff and Beau talked about her with the utmost love and respect.  I also know that she was a poet.  She published a book of poetry a couple years ago.  We have a link to her web site on our Links page under Suggested Reading - http://www.dorothybridges.com/
