If you listened to our January episode, we talked a little bit about our memories of the cartoon, Captain Planet.  I just read on Pop Candy that the cartoon is going to be playing on TV again.  No new episodes, just re-runs of the original shows.  Check it out!

Today the Mother Nature Network debuts classic eps of Captain Planet online. Go there now to watch the first episode, A Hero for Earth, in which Whoopi Goldberg plays "the spirit of Earth" and Ed Asner voices Hoggish Greedily, a villain "whose oil rig operation is jeopardizing the coastline." It's almost too weird not to watch.
