This is a bad blogging week for me.  I'm in meetings or giving presentations all day so far this week.  I think tomorrow might slow down.  So while I have 30 minutes to regroup and find a snack, here are some links...

Ever wonder about where the Jeff "The Dude" Bridges lives?  I don't think I've ever really cared that much about a celebrity's personal life.  Probably because I wouldn't want people sticking their noses into my personal business if I was ever famous.  Last I heard, his house was either in danger or damaged from some out of control wild fires a few months ago.  Here's an official report on the Dude's actual bungalow.

Muzeclothing.com has some serious beef about our new president, Barack Obama, magically fixing the nation's problems.  They declare the "honeymoon" should end and we need to see some action.  I don't really agree with that.  A president doesn't have a magic wand to wave over things and just "fix" everything.  My sister teaches at the K-6 level in Tennessee and during the elections some little kid was saying their mom is voting for Obama cause he's gonna give them a new house and they would have to keep coming to this "crappy school" anymore.  I wonder if that really happened?

Anyways, I think the president is working on things.  The president has people working on things.  Realistically it takes a lot more than one person saying, "let's fix this."  You have to get all of congress to first agree on a proposal and then it has to be voted on.  Even after that, it takes a while to implement those plans.  So I guess what I'm saying is, "Just take it easy, man."  The icing on the cake is they did recognize two excellent preside portrayals from cinema.  One of those would be Jeff Bridges as the president in the film The Contender.
