I'm sure you've all seen a sticker, t-shirt, or sign that says something to the effect of, "All I need to know I learned...." Well the folks over at http://orangecoat.com profess that all they need to know came from the Coen Brothers. At first I thought this would be a little cheesy, but i started going through their list of scenarios/situations and quotes from Coen films. There are some good ones here. You should check them out. Here´s some "inside" info on John Goodman. I don't know how trustworthy the source is, but it's interesting to read nonetheless. Filming locations can be deceiving. I always remember after I watched The Machinist and then found out the whole thing was shot in Spain. They can do amazing things with scenery and props. Albuquerque, New Mexico seems to be the place to shoot a film these days. It also happens to be where No Country for Old Men was shot. This last one I just found amusing. It's someone plugging The Big Lebowski on their blog. What authority do they have? Oh, well did I mention they have a degree from the 9th most prestigious university in the world? I had no idea schools were ranked like that, but that's cool...that, that's cool.
