Carter Burwell, composer for many a Coen film, was awarded the ASCAP Henry Mancini Award for Career Achievement at the 24th Annual ASCAP Film and Television Music Awards.  If you have watched many films over the past couple decades, the chances are pretty good that you've heard this man's talent.  Burwell has scored more than 70 films and has been working with the Coens for 25 years.
