You'll often see people in pictures and sometimes on TV wearing "Achiever" shirts.  Achiever is the self-applied term for fans of The Big Lebowski and was started by some of the first attendees of Lebowski Fest.  Last night an episode of Jeopardy! aired and one of the contestants was an Achiever.

If you're familiar with the show, there's a part after they've gone through a few questions where the three contestants are introduced.  Alex Trebec, the host, shares one "interesting" tidbit of information or prompts the contestant to tell that nifty anecdotal story.  Personally, I usually find the stories to be lame and boring.  Last night, however, one of those cute little tidbits happened to be about Lebowski Fest.

So a tip of the hat, or as Walter would say, "...And a good day to you, ma'am," to Sarah Linn for showing her colors and rallying the Achiever intellectuals.  If you're interested in reading her thoughts on the experience, you should check out her blog.
