Here are a couple places you can catch a local viewing of The Big Lebowski in the near future. The first is in New Orleans and I think the second is in Milwaukee. It's always hard to figure out what town/city these postings are from on their websites if they don't post an address. Sept. 11-12: "The Big Lebowski" (1998), a Coen brothers comedy starring Jeff Bridges and John Goodman in a story about a dude -- the Dude, in fact -- who just wants his ruined rug replaced. Dane101 is proud to officially kick off the 2009-2010 Brew and View season with our third annual showing of the Big Lebowski on October 7 at the Majestic Theatre. Just like the last two years not only will you be able to enjoy one of the best Coen brother films with a few hundred of your closest friends, but we will be offering up discount prices on White Russians. Tickets are $5 and you can buy them in advance (remember, we tend to end up turning people away at the door for the Lebowski showings). Also, if you're in London, you should check out a fun bowling opportunity on September 23rd. This is taking place at the All Star Lanes in London, and is a charity event to benefit needy urban achievers.
