Well, I think it's fair to say the first Lebowski Fest Boston was a success. Saturday night took place at the House of Blues next to Fenway park. Over 500 people showed up to a good show by The Black Diamond Heavies and a showing of The Big Lebowski. We got to enjoy the evening with our good friend Soulman, and my little brother. Last night was the bowling, trivia, costumes and what-have-you at Kings bowling alley. That's a pretty classy joint. We might have to check out what they're normal prices are for next time we're down that way. One nice thing compared to Louisville is that everybody was pretty much getting a chance to bowl. People weren't mobbing the lanes. We were able to bowl with our buddy Dave Cousins and his special lady Trena, and then a couple other new friends, Steve and Matt. We had a great time. Dave won Best Dude, and at the insistence of Tom and Liz I entered the trivia contest and brought home a first place trophy. Some other highlights would include meeting the first ever Dudeist monk I've ever laid my eyes on. We got some pictures with her. We were also able to talk to some other great local Achievers like Dave, who took 3rd place in the trivia contest, and well, uh, I lost my train of thought there and am totally blanking on names right now. Oh yeah, Dave has some great memorabilia from The Big Lebowski. He told us he's send us some pictures in a few months after he's done moving. We were able to score some sweet audio back in the green room Saturday night. After I get a chance to go through it and do a little editing, we'll probably be posting that for you all to enjoy.
