If you follow news surrounding the Coen Brothers, you'll probably recognize the name Michael Chabon. He's an author and wrote the book The Yiddish Policeman's Union which also happens to be a film the Coens have been working on. Well Chabon has completed another book titled Manhood for Amateurs: The Pleasures and Regrets of a Husband, Father, and Son, is never quite what it purports to be. I can't help but wonder if this answers Jeff Lebowski's question, "What makes a man, Mr. Lebowski?" In his book, Chabon talks about a wide variety of topics in essay format. They are mainly about his experiences with his family. It sounds fascinating even though I've never read anything by him before. Has anyone read this? I found out about the book through this review - http://www.indenvertimes.com/book-review-manhood-for-amateurs/
