Late last month Joel Coen, Ethan Coen, Michael Stuhlberg and Richard Kind sat down to talk with Charlie Rose about A Serious Man. I've been waiting to post something about it because the video wasn't appearing in the archives a while back. I'm not sure how to embed the video, but if you go to http://www.charlierose.com, click the ARCHIVE tab on the right side of the screen and scroll down to Joel and Ethan Coen 10/27/09. There could be an easier way to access it, but that's how I got to it. Besides hearing Joel and Ethan talk about the film, you can also see Michael Stuhlberg talk about his role of Larry Gopnik and Richard Kind talk about his rold of "Uncle" Arthur Gopnik. You might have heard the Coen Brothers took a lot from their childhood in writing this script. You'll get to hear them talk about which characters are from real people. Well, I'll quit giving away the details. You should check out the video. *** EDIT - You can also just type "coen" into the search text box to more easily find the video.
