Yesterday I mentioned Fred Melamed might be up for an Oscar nomination because of his role in A Serious Man. Well, if you've been keeping up with Jeff Bridges, you'll know The Open Road came out on DVD this week to little or no acclaim. That's the film he did with Justin Timberlake. I'll reserve any comments of my own until I've actually seen it. However, what we're here to look at today is the trailer for Bridges' latest film.

Crazy Heart is the story of a broken down musician.  Bridges is also being talked about for a Best Actor nomination.  He's had four nomination so far in his career.  I really hope this will be number five.  I'm really looking forward to seeing Jeff sing in this.  Hopefully there'll be some great music similar to Joaquin Phoenix in Walk the Line.  I've read some comments that this will hit big just like The Wrestler did last year.  I think one big difference is that Jeff isn't trying to rejuvenate his career like Mickey Rourke did.  Anyways, this is something I'm definitely looking forward to seeing.
