I really wish I had a steak to eat right now, but I'm actually talking about T Bone Burnett.  Burnett is an amazing musician and artist who is very involved in many of the Coen Brothers' films and also does some work with Jeff Bridges.  If you've heard about the Oscar hopeful Crazy Heart starring Bridges, you probably know the premise.  It's about an old country-western singer who is trying to pull his life around.  In it, Jeff Bridges performs the songs the his character performs.  T Bone wrote and produced the music for this film and has done so on many others.  If you consider the Coens to be great directors and writers, and you consider Roger Deakins to be an amazing cinematographer, than you should probably consider Burnett to be an amazing soundtrack composer.

  T-Bone has taken a pretty amazing turn lately with producing soundtracks actually performed by the actors. His instruction made for a pretty good record with WALK THE LINE.

  Exactly, and for those who like musicals, it's hard finding someone who didn't like O Brother Where Art Thou. It's not my favorite, but it's still good.

  And speaking of Walk the Line, I wonder how Joaquin is doing these days.
