Remember these guys from last year? I think they called their event "Lebowski Night" back in 2009 and it looks like they've upgraded their event title. Seems appropriate since this is apparently the biggest Lebowski event in Canada, eh? This year their shindig kicks off March 6, 2010 which also happens to be the first annual Day of the Dude. Is this a coincidence? I think probably yes. The dudes over at Lebowskipalooza aren't just a bunch of Jackie Treehorn wannabes throwing a frozen garden party folks. These guys are raising money for The Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. If you've attended a Lebowski Fest before, you should know what to expect. There will be games, prizes, costumes, a viewing of the film and what have you. For any and all information on where to show up, tickets, etc check out their website at http://www.lebowskipalooza.com/. It looks like tickets are currently on sale for the modest price of $10. You know, if you're in to long road trips you could go check out the Olympics in Vancouver and then after those are finished, make your way on over to LEBOWSKIPALOOZA.
