The city of Baldwin Park, California recently banned drive-throughs in its town? Does this sound weird to you? Turns out so many people want their fast food, the traffic is backing up into the streets and hindering traffic. Where I currently live Dunkin Donuts is a big deal and some of them have signs saying not to line up in the street. Apparently signs and warnings aren't doing much good out there. The reasons this is a big deal is because Baldwin Park is the hometown of In-N-Out. Some even say it's the birthplace of fast food and the drive-through itself. So what's going to happen? Will restaurants see a sharp decline in their business? I would guess probably not. Will people get a tiny bit more exercise? Maybe. It'll be interesting to see this story unfold.
