Who would have guessed it? Kim Jong Il sponsored that phone game Big Lebowski Bowling. I remember first hearing about it and thinking it was quite interesting, but had no idea North Korea was behind it. According to this article, Kim Jong Il Bowls for Murdoch Dollars With Korea Video Games, programmers from North Korea's General Federation of Science and Technology created the game back in 2007.  It was then marketed by News Corp in New York.  This may not sound like a big deal, but I do believe this violates trade sanctions.

Not a big deal?  Well, maybe not, unless you look at what North Korea is purchasing with these monies.  While it's perfectly OK under UN sanctions, it's not OK under US sanctions.  This type of activity boosts the knowledge and economy of one of the pooriest countries in the world, but at the same time it's helping them to further some of their very un-Dude activities which include cyber attacks against South Korea and the US.
