A couple years ago I stumbled upon a website ran by the Zen Peacemakers association with little Zen life lessons paired up with scenes from The Big Lebowski.  I may be describing this completely wrong, but this was my perception.  I then found out these were being co-written by Jeff Bridges, a Zen master (Roshi Bernie Glassman), and a few others.  This was so awesome.  I subscribed and was checking back daily to see if something new had been posted.

Some of these little lessons were way over my head.  I'm guessing this is mostly because I have no real handle, or even a slight grasp, on most Eastern religions but having the tie-ins to The Big Lebowski definitely helped.  Then one day the new posts stopped coming and the blog eventually became a "Sorry we can't find what you're looking for" link.

Fast forward a couple of years and working with one of the dudes from Zen Peacemakers, we were able to recover the blog posts.  Oliver from Dudespaper.com graciously provided space on his site to host the content.  You can now find the koans here - http://dudespaper.com/dude-university/the-koans-brother/.  Hope you enjoy them.
