Flower power had its Woodstock. Achievers and Dudeists now have Dudestock.
A FAMILY-FRIENDLY music festival is being held in York to raise money for the city’s Special Care Baby Unit.
Dudestock 2011 will be held in Bustardthorpe Field at the Knavesmire on June 18, and around 3,000 tickets are on sale for the day-long music event.
The money raised will help buy equipment including incubators, breast pumps and even toys for the York Hospital unit for premature and unwell newborn babies.

This summer you'll have the chance to attend this great fundraiser in York, England. I live in the US, so I don't think I'll make it. Maybe the Irish Monk will check it out and report back to us?
If there's one thing I can be proud of, it's all the great fundraiser with a Big Lebowski theme. There are multiple events being held every year to battle cancer and raise funds for individuals with all kinds of serious physical ailments. Keep on keeping on dudes.
