Chalupa, I’m writing to not only congratulate you on another great episode of the Lebowski Podcast, but also to reinforce a comment made during the Listener Spotlight of Joe Blevins. Last March, during the Bowling Party of Lebowski Fest Chicago, I briefly met Joe Blevins. It didn’t take long to realize his high acumen for all things Lebowski. It was no surprise when he won the trivia contest. For those that were there, his acceptance speech was 100% sincere. We all felt how happy he was to have won such an award. It makes thematic sense for his win to be spun as a negative for The Achievers. Although I feel bad for Joe, I’m sure a film scholar such as himself realizes what needs to happen to create suspense and intrigue. Hopefully, he feels proud that he’s in the movie and featured in a pivotal, if not influential, role in a story arc. He did better than me, who made frequent walks out of the general direction of my destination in the hopes of getting into the background of Cameraman Chung’s view. Keep up the good work, TQ
