Dr. Ed Comentale is an Associate Professor of English at Indiana University.  Dr. Aaron Jaffe is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Louisville, KY.  Ed and Aaron held an academic symposium on Lebowski at the 2006 Lebowski Festival in Louisville, KY.  They are also putting together a book called The Year's Work in Lebowski Studies, building on the symposium and set to be released by Indiana University Press in 2009.
